Biography
Caelan Griffiths is a registered Landscape Architect. Born in Hinton, Alberta to parents of Chinese and British origin - he was schooled in local botany at an early age by his Yorkshire-born grandmother. Caelan designed and constructed a backyard mini-golf course at age 11 and his first residential garden at 14 years-old.
Caelan completed his elementary and high school education in French immersion and is fluent in French and Italian. He is a graduate from the Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of British Columbia and holds a Bachelor of Arts: Communication & Canadian Studies and a post-graduate certificate in Urban Design from Simon Fraser University.
Caelan provides landscape architectural services including concept, design, construction documentation, and contract administration. Using both hand and computer-based representation, his work includes residential, civic and commercial projects. Caelan’s previous professional experience includes museum curation, arts administration, and for fun: playing Motown classics in a cover band.
